Likewise, we also have those movies that make us think, "everyone needs to see this. Pronto."
Now, I would like to introduce somebody who has dedicated herself to keeping records of those types of movies. Her name is Lily Amis.
#WOT Movie List
Goodbye Lover 1999
Larry Crowne 2011
But this movie is nothing but a negative reflection of our society filled with useless dialogues and nonsense. Nothing about this movie that is titled as “Romantic Comedy” was funny or romantic. I remember the interviews when Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks were promoting the movie. All they did was complimenting each other. Julia Roberts about Tom Hanks: “Tom is amazing”. Tom Hanks about Julia Roberts. “She’s amazing”. We get it you like each other and of course people who hear about a movie with two Hollywood stars have high expectations. But this film proves that even the best actors can’t make a good movie without a good script. Tom Hanks with all respect but your script sucks! Stick to acting, forget the writing!"
Man of Steel 2013
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty 2013

But, enough of the depressing stuff. Here is Lily's list of recommended movies:
American Beauty 1999
"Beautifully shot and terrifically acted, this is a movie that makes us question what we really define as beauty. Highly commended for anyone who wants to feel immersed in a suburban commentary where every character is instantly relatable in some way."
The Island 2005
The Monuments Men 2014
The Notebook 2004
Shadows in the Sun 2005

What little known movies do you consider a must see?
If you have any, please be sure to post in on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtags #WOT or #MUSTC, then Lily will post it on her blog monthly so that everyone else will know to either avoid or check out your suggested film.
Thanks to Lily Amis for putting this list on and pursuing the promotion of beneficial arts!
