I wasn't able to do this last year, as I only managed to watch 30 movies as opposed to my goal of 50, so doing a top 10/bottom 10 just wasn't worth it. In addition, there weren't a whole lot of releases from 2020 that really grasped me. This year thankfully was a lot better. It wasn't ideal, however, as I still need to wear a mask when I enter the movie theater and need to show my proof of vaccination card, and that system consequently has been part of the reason why movie theaters have struggled to draw crowds back in. There's also the common enemy known as online streaming, which many people are starting to prefer over spending the money and the time to drive to a movie theater. Even I've found myself preferring to watch something at home when I can get the chance to. So while this is yet another weird year for movies, it's at least more normal than last year, which means now I can present to you a proper list of my 10 favorite and 10 least favorite movies I saw this year! Starting with the negative (so I can end on a positive note):
